A series of four 2 hour zoom sessions beginning in January 2026. All sessions will take place on Mondays 6.30-8.30pm UK time.

Material Thinking is a new series of 4 online workshops taking place monthly and based around my 20+ years of textile practice. My projects and research, book development, curatorial work and studio practice will all feature. Sessions will focus on a particular theme - place, time, mind and body, and memory. Each will include an illustrated talk about an aspect of my work and time for questions and discussion.

The class size is small and you are encouraged to share the development of your work with others during the sessions. There will be a reflective hand stitching element in each session that you will be encouraged to join in with.

In each session you will:

- Hear about an aspect of my practice in a richly illustrated talk
- Have an opportunity discuss ideas around textile practice in a supportive environment
- Connect with an international cohort of participants
- Take part in a reflective stitching exercise
- Receive a PDF of resources and prompts for your own practice after the session

You are purchasing one non-transferable ticket for 4 online workshops. The sessions will take place on Zoom and a link will be sent via email the day before the first session. Please do not share the link with anyone else.

All sessions will take place on Mondays 6.30-8.30pm UK time. Please check that these times work for you before booking as sessions will not be recorded.

Cancellations and refunds: Cancellations can be processed subject to a 10% administration fee if requested at least 7 days before the start of the course. After this point the course is non-refundable.
